The Iberostar Cancun Hotel is a luxurious 5 star all-inclusive complex with a picture postcard beach front location. With 7 swimming pools, 5 restaurants and even its own 18-hole golf course the hotel promises a great family atmosphere whether activities or relaxation are you priority. Many holidaymakers visiting the Iberostar Cancun experience excellent standards of safety and hygiene and have an enjoyable break. However, there have been unfortunate cases of avoidable holiday illness reported to Sickholiday.com.
Cases of E. coli have been reported at the hotel, a bacteria that can be contracted from eating infected and undercooked meats, raw milk and cheese. Human sewage and poorly treated pools can also be responsible for the illness, symptoms of which include severe diarrhoea, vomiting and fever.
Suffering from illness on an all-inclusive holiday to the Iberostar Cancun Hotel will obviously affect your health but can also leave holidaymakers out of pocket from costly medical treatment.
