The buffet food was often lukewarm and some of the food was undercooked. Salmonella is likely to be caused by undercooked food.  Miss. M suffered with weeks of violent diarrhoea and projectile vomiting. She had to take two weeks unpaid off work. She believes that this is due to the overall poor food hygiene at the hotel.

Miss M saw both the doctor abroad and back in the UK to be diagnosed salmonella. She was prescribed antibiotics which eventually cleared up her infection.
